ANDS Roadshows

Visiting all capital cities, September 2009 - May 2010

ANDS is planning to visit each capital city and some other regional centres between September 2009 and May 2010. These visits will provide researchers, representatives of research institutions and infrastructure providers with the opportunity to meet with ANDS staff and to attend workshops. 

ANDS will be in:

• Melbourne on May 10 and 11, 2010 (register by May 4)
• Darwin - to be advised
• Townsville - to be advised
• Sydney on April 19 and 20 Presentations available
  
• Canberra on March 30 and 31, 2010
• Hobart on December 1 and 2, 2009.
• Adelaide on October 27 and 28, 2009.
• Newcastle on October 12 and 13, 2009.
• Brisbane on September 29 and 30, 2009. Presentations available
• Perth on September 10 and 11, 2009.

Two workshops are planned in each city. 

The sharing and management of data are activities which involve many different people within the research institution, including researchers and their support staff, research administrators, data centre and repository staff and others.  These workshops are designed for different audiences, so individuals might choose those which best suit their needs.

Cost to participants

There will be no charge for workshop attendance.

Cancellation policy

Cancellations should be notified to contact@ands.org.au.  Substitutions can be made, but we prefer that these be notified well in advance.
