Program Aims

• To influence relevant national policies
• To build a common understanding of data management issues and solutions across:
  
                                                       - government departments (Commonwealth and State)
                                                       - research funding agencies
                                                       -research-intensive organisations
  

Program Overview

The Frameworks Program will:

• Aim to influence and simplify a national policy framework
• Define how activities by researchers can contribute to a national data commons

The primary collaborators in the Frameworks Program will be:

• Institutional data holders (NCRIS Capabilities, DPI, GeoScience Australia, ABS etc)
• Research funding departments such as DIISR and DEWR
• Research funding schemes such as ARC, NHMRC, RIBG
• Research office staff at institutions
