The ANDS Identify My Data service can be accessed by system agents as part of system to system automated workflows.  This ANDS service exposes the functionality of the Local Handle Server (mint, manage, etc) as HTTP web services.

To use this service your system will need to be trusted:

1. Your system will need to connect to the service via HTTPS
2. The IP address of your system will need to be registered with our service

There is an ANDS test environment that you will initially test your system with.  Your usage of the system falls under the general expectations of the ANDS Identify My Data service:

1. you will use the service to identify only objects relevant to the research data commons
2. you have the ability and commitment to maintain the currency of the location information associated with your identifiers over the long term.
